HCC and STCC Instant Accept Days


Holyoke Community College and Springfield Technical Community College will be holding Instant Accept Days here at Belchertown High School. HCC will be here on February 7th from 9:00 to 11:00, and STCC will be here on February 9th from 9:00 to 11:00. Seniors must sign up for an appointment in the School Counseling Office and complete the online application for HCC or STCC or both prior to the Instant Accept Day they will attend. There are no fees. The School Counseling Office will provide transcripts. Seniors should see or email their counselors if they have any questions. Don’t miss this great opportunity!

Local Scholarships are scholarships awarded to Belchertown High School graduating seniors by benefactors and groups from Belchertown or the surrounding areas or who have ties to Belchertown High School.  Some local scholarships require that the Local Scholarship Application be attached to their forms.  The Local Scholarship Application may also be required for some of the chosen scholarships (those scholarships chosen by a selection committee).  You must use your account to access this scholarship form.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarships for High School Juniors (Class of 2024)


Horatio Alger Association Scholarships for high school juniors (Class of 2024) reward juniors who possess the character to succeed in life and believe in the American Dream.  These scholarships help students overcome the financial barriers to pursue higher education.  To qualify, juniors must have at least a 2.0 GPA and require critical financial assistance to attend college.  The application deadline is March 15, 2023.

Financial Aid Night

Work Permits


Work permits are issued in the Superintendent's Office at the Belchertown Public Schools Central Office, 14 Maple Street, Belchertown.  The hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  The phone number is 323-0423 extension 100.  Please click on the link below for more information.  You must have a job prior to obtaining a work permit.

RMV Documents for Learner's Permits and Driver's Licenses


Documents required by the Registry of Motor Vehicles can be obtained by calling or emailing Ms. Drawec, the Administrative Assistant in the School Counseling Office.  She can provide students with the necessary documents that are accepted by the RMV – Official Enrollment Verification Letter and Official Transcript.  You may contact Ms. Drawec by phone at 413-323-9351 or by email at  You will need to provide the student’s name, an email address where these documents can be sent, and a phone number in case there are any questions.

If you are a graduate of BHS/attended BHS and you need a copy of your transcript, you can either email (preferred) the Administrative Assistant at or call the BHS School Counseling Office at 413-323-9351 Option 4.  

You must provide your name (clearly spelled), your graduation year or years of attendance, the complete address or an email of where you would like your transcript sent, and a telephone number where you can be reached (in case further information is needed).
